The Piha Canyon - come canyoning in the sub-tropical rainforest of the West Coast Waitakere Ranges, only 40 minutes from Auckland Central (transport provided).

Abseiling down showering waterfalls surrounded by moss and fern covered volcanic rock walls, swimming through pools of blues and greens, jumps, caves, and slides as you explore the canyon! All obstacles are optional, no experience needed.

You will also see the remains of the original pioneers wood constructed logging dam; learn about the local history and Maori culture. Climb Lion Rock for some great photo opportunities. Includes transport, bakery lunch / refreshments, full equipment, a visit to black sand Piha Surf Beach and a beautiful rainforest walk.

• Full Day Piha Canyoning: $155 - 7.5 hour trip, 9.30am departure, 4.30 pm return to Auckland.
• Half Day Piha Canyoning: $125 - 5.5 hour trip, departure to suit clients.
• Night Canyoning: $145 - 5.5 hour trip, departure early evening (to suit clients and light conditions), glow-worms galore as you explore the canyon by night.

Additional facilities:

• Changing rooms and bathrooms available before and after the trip.
• Safe storage lockup for valuables and gear while clients are canyoning.
